"Set in a bar in County Waterford in 1964, Johnny and a friend head to the pub one evening, while rumours of a local murder circulate. The story of that night weaves its way through reflection and admissions of the past that are all too real, and delivered subtly. What the play manages to do is to give a distillation of lives within a short space of time, and like all good drama, it is liberally mixed with laughter, the kind of one liners that comes from the banter of everyday life.
